| Comparison rules | A set of conditions which defines equality of files.
|
| Comparison table | The comparison table displays files content of compared folders.
|
| Dead logs | Log files which do not exist on a disk, but a link to them is stored in the Log Viewer.

| Duplicates files | Files which have equal names and exist on both panes of the comparison table.
|
| Empty folder | A folder which does not contain files or subfolders.
|
| File filter | A set of conditions that limits the filenames included in comparison.
|
| Folder filter | A list of folders to be excluded from a comparison.
|
| Job | A set of specifications which defines folder pairs to synchronize, the way how it is done and how often to perform a Job.

| Log file | A plain-text file which contains synchronization activities.
|
| Pair/Folders pair | Two folders for a comparison against each other.

| Preview synchronization table | Displays operations which synchronization will take on files in compared folders.

| Silent mode | You can setup HAS to run it automatically at log on (work in "silent" mode). It allows you to execute scheduled jobs every time when you work, without your attention.

| Single file | A file that exists only on one side of the comparison table.

| Scheduler | Defines how often a job will be executed.

| Synchronization method | A set of operations which HAS takes over compared folder pairs during synchronization.
